About us
Fibre2000 is a textile manufacturing mill in the heart of Durban, KZN. We specialise in the Knitting,Weaving,Quilting and Bonded Fabrics (Laminating and Waterproofing various fabrics).
Having a fully fledged textile mill at our disposal allows for unique and exclusive fabric constructions that perfectly suit the needs of our Customers.
Our Infrastructure
Jacquard Knitting Machines
Our state of the art, computerised machines were specifically designed by us to be able to create superior quality fabrics in the fastest time.
Weaving
We at Fibre2000 use shuttleless weaving looms which is used to produce furnishing fabrics, namely Upholstery fabrics and fabrics for the Mattress Manufacturing Industry.
Quilting
Quilting is a process by which 3 or more fabrics are taken, placed and then stitched together by our computerized machines
Laminating & WaterProofing
In keeping with our ethos of being environmentally friendly, even our laminating and waterproofing service makes sure our fabrics remain hypo-allergenic
PVC Department
We are the only textile company in South Africa who uses a Hot Melt Laminating process which does not use harmful solvents and carcinogens

Medical Range
There’s nothing more important than an excellent waterproofing material, which is exactly what we feature in our exclusive hospital range that is fully customisable and loved by the private hospitals we supply.
Organic Bamboo
When you think about a sustainable fabric, it’s highly unlikely that you would ever think that a plant like bamboo could ever fit that bill, however, it appears that you may be pleasantly surprised when you find out just how sustainable the material actually is.
Hospitality Range
A family of four walks through the doors, typical mum and dad tired from their long day of traveling, and trailing behind them are two wonderfully charming children (I’m sure) but their cranky and at that stage of exhausted wakefulness where there will likely demolish anything their path, and the next stop in their journey is one of your hotel rooms…
